# Add Scripts From the Script Library

The ControlUp for Desktops script library is a collection of useful scripts compiled by ControlUp. You can import scripts from the script library to use them in your environment.

To access the Script Library, go to **ControlUp for Desktops > Configuration > Scripts > Script Library**.

Select from the available scripts on the left-hand side, and click **Import Script** to add the script to your environment. Before you import the script, you can edit the **Name** of the script to give it a different title, and you can edit the **Permission Group** to control who has permission to run the script. For more information about script parameters, read the [Scripting Guide](/tim-reorg/docs/scripting-guide).

If you want to customize a script from the script library, import the script and then edit it. To edit a script, select it from the list of scripts in your environment.
