This would possibly occur if more than one parameter was defined for the argument. ## Custom Hive 1245 (Mar 17) ### New Features - The local time of the custom hive has been added to the information presented for a Synthetic Monitoring event in the Events page in the DEX platform. Now all Synthetic Monitoring events include both the UTC and the local time of the hive. - **Omissa scouts (formerly VMware):** Added support for testing resources on an Omnissa Horizon Client for Windows. ### Bug Fix - **Citrix scouts**: `Custom & Cloud` Fixed an issue where sessions launched requiring GPO confirmation on Citrix Workspace App for Windows would fail to reach the ready state. ## Custom Hive 1244 (Feb 8) ### New Features - **Omissa scouts (formerly VMware):** `Custom & Cloud` Added support for environments that require both DUO and Horizon authentication. - **EUC** **Scouts**: `Custom & Cloud` Added DUO voice call for multi-factor authentication (MFA) support. ### Bug Fixes - **Citrix scouts**: `Custom & Cloud` Fixed authentication failures in Entra ID-based environments caused by double gateway loading. - **Omissa scouts (formerly VMware)**: `Custom & Cloud` Fixed random authentication failures caused by an HTML element being obscured during the login process. - **Custom Hive**: Improved the stability of the Scoutbees Hive service to prevent it from stopping unexpectedly. - **Web transaction scouts**: `Custom & Cloud` Fixed an issue that caused random failures when using the **Switch-tab** step during a transaction. ## Custom Hive 1243 (Jan 18) ### New Features - **Omissa Workspace One scouts:** `Custom & Cloud` Added custom authentication support that validates and applies an additional user name when it is required by the identity provider authentication. ### Bug Fixes - **Citrix scouts**: - `Custom & Cloud` Enhanced desktop session authentication to reduce session login failures. - Fixed false ready-state failures for sessions monitored by Citrix Workspace App for Windows. - **Traceroute scouts**: `Custom & Cloud` Fixed max and average packet loss calculations to ensure accurate packet loss reporting. ## Custom Hive 1242 (Dec 23) ### Bug Fixes - **Siteload scouts:** `Custom & Cloud` - Fixed an issue causing certificate transparency errors (`ERR_Certificate_Transparency_Required`) that prevented some websites from loading. ## Custom Hive 1241 (Dec 08) ### New Features - **Citrix scouts:** `Custom & Cloud` Added logoff monitoring for tests using the Citrix Workspace app for Windows client. ### Bug Fixes - **AVD scouts:** `Custom & Cloud` - Improved GPO handling for desktop sessions - Refined calculations for connection and ready-state duration metrics ## Custom Hive 1240 (Nov 25) ### Bug Fixes - **VMware Workspace One:** `Custom & Cloud` Fixed a bug that caused authentication failures when logging in with Entra ID. - **Citrix:** `Custom & Cloud` Fixed incorrect calculations of session timing metrics. - **Citrix:** `Custom & Cloud` Fixed authentication failures caused by a customized Entra ID login flow. ## Custom Hive 1239 (Nov 11) ### New Features - **EUC Scouts**: `Custom & Cloud` Added support for **Ping Identity** as an Identity Provider (IdP), allowing users to log into EUC scouts using Ping Identity for authentication. - **Citrix**: `Custom & Cloud`Added a new setting in scout creation, that allows you to indicate if a **GPO (welcome screen)** is configured for your monitored environment, enhancing visibility into each scout’s setup. ### Bug Fixes - **VMware**: `Custom & Cloud` Fixed an issue where the server name wasn’t displayed in test results. ## Custom Hive 1238 (Oct 20) ### Bug Fixes - **Citrix**: `Custom & Cloud` Fixed an authentication failure caused by incorrect handling of an EPA step (endpoint analysis security check performed on the device). - The SQLite was upgraded to version 3.50.2, and the encryption layer for SQLite (PySqlCipher) was upgraded to version 2.1.0. These upgrades improve performance and fix vulnerabilities as documented [here](https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2025-6965). ## Custom Hive 1236 (Sept 16) ### Bug Fixes - **Citrix**: `Custom & Cloud` Enhanced Citrix resource monitoring when running using the Citrix Workspace app for Windows: Better screenshots, logs, and post-readyState error handling. - **Custom Hive** **NTLM** **Proxy authentication:** `Custom & Cloud` Fixed a connection failure in HiveService that occurred when using NTLM proxy authentication. - **Citrix Pre-authentication Privacy Policy Form**: `Custom & Cloud` Fixed authentication failures during login that occurred when Citrix scouts encountered a Privacy Policy acceptance form. - **Custom Hive Service recovery**: Improved HiveService recovery from network disruptions. ## Custom Hive 1235 (Sept 2) ### Bug Fixes - **Ping Scout error**: `Custom & Cloud`Fixed an issue with Ping Scout failures due to character encoding errors on Windows systems using non-English language settings. - **EUC Scout authentication failure**: `Custom & Cloud` Improved an issue of EUC scouts authenticated by Okta failing to authenticate. - **Citrix MFA fix**: `Custom & Cloud`Fixed a bug in the scout’s MFA failing to properly populate the passcode field on Citrix login screens. ## Custom Hive 1234 (August 10) ### Bug Fixes - **Custom Hive** - Improved setup experience. Enhanced background process management. - **Citrix:** `Custom & Cloud` - Improved the authentication process. - Enhanced resource enumeration and connection. - **VMware Security Server**: `Custom & Cloud` Improved the authentication process. ## Custom Hive 1232 ### New Features - **VMware authentication** - Added support for handling disclaimers before authentication. - **Citrix Scout failures** - Improved error messages for better troubleshooting. ### Bug Fixes - **Service scheduler** - Fixed an issue that caused an unnecessarily high frequency of test runs. - **VMware tests** - Fixed an issue with TOTP Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). - **VMware tests** - Fixed an issue that caused incorrect success reports when session logoff failed. - **Ping tests** - Fixed an issue that prevented failure reports from being generated when tests were run from hives on non-English Windows operating systems. - **HTTP/s tests** - Fixed an issue where pattern checks failed after a test configuration update. Note: To apply this fix, please delete and reconfigure any affected existing tests. - **AVD tests** - Fixed an issue that prevented screenshots from being captured during tests. ## Custom Hive 1230 ### New Features - **Citrix Scout** - Added an option to bypass the Citrix receiver detection process by clicking the “Already installed” link. ### Bug Fixes - **Citrix Scout** - Enhanced handling of the ‘Welcome’ screen when using Citrix Workspace App. ## Custom Hive 1229 ### New Features - Added the ability to skip Storefront pre-authentication that previously required installation of the Citrix Plug-in and Endpoint Analysis (EPA) MSI packages. ### Bug fixes - Improved handling of SMS-based MFA during Entra ID authentication. - Fixed an issue affecting the integration between Okta and VMware Workspace ONE. - Fixed an issue where inconsistent VMware Broker URLs led to incorrect environment targeting by the scout. - Fixed an issue in Citrix Workspace for Desktop Scout that caused "Failed to connect" and "Failed to get session ready" errors when the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) server was unavailable. - Fixed a "Failed to get session ready" error in Citrix Workspace for HTML5 Receiver Scout, caused by failure to bypass the Welcome screen. ## Custom Hive 1228 ### New Features - Added support for HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) in HTTP/s scouts. - Web Transactions scouts- added an automatic MFA step using SMS, Voice Call, TOTP or Static PIN authentication for tests requiring an additional security layer. ### Bug fixes - Fixed a “Failed to monitor session“ failure when using Citrix Workspace app. - Fixed an issue that caused a custom hive service crash. ## Custom Hive 1227 ### New Features - Enabling EUC scout MFA on the new DUO interface ### Bug fixes - AVD Scout - handled window pop-up during resource connecting step - Fixed an issue with VMware Workspace One, which caused a Runner error ## Custom Hive 1226 ### New Features - Support for an additional authentication flow in Citrix - Support for combined authentication using Okta username and EntraID password ### Bug fixes - Fixed an issue in Citrix Scouts that caused failure during session connection - Fixed Okta authentication in iFrame - Fixed an issue in VMware Scouts that required re-authentication during resource connection. ## Custom Hive 1225 ### New features - Silent Install enables you to deploy, custom hives across multiple hosts (desktops or servers) using automation tools or proprietary scripts. These tools or scripts distribute a Custom Hive Installer (an executable file) to the hosts without requiring user interaction, saving you time and effort (see [Silent Install for Synthetic Monitoring Custom Hives](https://support.controlup.com/docs/silent-install-for-synthetic-monitoring-custom-hives) ). ### Bug fixes - Fixed an issue of network child scout not running for Storefront EUC scout. ## Custom Hive 1224 ### Bug fixes - Fixed an issue with executing the network test as part of the running HTTP/S and EUC scouts on custom hives. ## Custom Hive 1223 ### New Features - Support for the Mail Application Scout (see[](https://support.controlup.com/docs/mail-scout)[https://support.controlup.com/docs/mail-scout](https://support.controlup.com/docs/mail-scout)). - Support for the Switch Tab step in the Web Transaction Scout. ### Bug fixes - Fixed a delay in getting to session-ready state in VMware and Citrix Scouts. - Fixed an issue with the configuration of CVAD credentials in the Hive Configuration window under the Enrichment Credentials tab. ## Custom Hive 1222 ### New Features - Added support for application logoff in VMware Horizon Scout. - Added support for Entra ID authentication in VMware Horizon Scout. - VMware Horizon Scout can handle more session warning dialogs. ### Fixes - Fixed an issue with the desktop session logoff in VMware Horizon Scout, that caused session disconnect instead of logoff. - Fixed an issue with the HTTP/S Scout that failed to perform on custom hives. ## Custom Hive 1220 ### New Features - The VMware Workspace One Scout can now handle more session alerts and notifications that might appear when signing into a session. ### Fixes - Fixed an issue causing EUC, Web Transactions, and Site Load Scouts to show black/cropped screenshots when viewing test results. - Fixed an issue causing the Microsoft Teams Scouts to fail when running from Custom Hives. ## Custom Hive 1219 ### Fixes - Improved the encoding handshake for the HTTP Scout. An encoding issue sometimes caused Scouts to report failures when the resource was available. - Improved detection of authentication failures for Citrix Scouts. Authentication failures were sometimes incorrectly reported as resource enumeration failures. ## Custom Hive 1218 ### New Features - VMware Workspace One Scouts now support gateways that use Microsoft Entra ID for authentication. ### Fixes - The reported total duration for Citrix Scouts was sometimes incorrect when using a TOTP code for MFA. - The Site Load Scout was sometimes incorrectly identifying text when using the **Look for a string in the response** setting. - EUC Scouts that use Entra ID for authentication can now handle additional dialogs for browser selection during the login process. - Improved logoff methods for AVD Scouts to prevent failed logoffs. ## Custom Hive 1216 ### New Features - Support Client Encryption Mode for the Horizon Unified Access Gateway EUC scout. ### Fixes - Fixed an issue with the Site Load and Web Transaction scouts that reported false failures when attempting to load the first page of the websites they were monitoring. - VMware and Microsoft Entra ID (previously known as Azure AD) scouts no longer fail if the test was interrupted and disconnected before it completed. ## Custom Hive 1215 ### New Features - Updated third-party components in the Custom Hive for generally improved performance and stability. ### Fixes - Site Load Scouts were falsely reporting a timeout error - Improved support for Citrix Scouts using NetScaler OTP. - Citrix Cloud Scouts can now test gateways that require the user to accept a EULA before signing in. ## Custom Hive 1214 ### Fixes - Fixed an issue when using two-staged authentication with different sets of credentials for Citrix-based EUC Scouts. - Fixed an issue with distorted screenshots in EUC scouts. - Fixed a bug in the screenshot timing when using Citrix workspace application. - Fixed an issue with enumerating published resources for Citrix Storefront scout. - Fixed an issue that caused HTTP/S scout malfunction on Custom Hives. ## Custom Hive 1213 ### Fixes - The Web Transaction Scout now focuses on the correct element before taking a screenshot. - Fixed an issue with resolving nameservers on Cloud Hives for DNS Lookup Scouts. - Fixed an issue identifying credential fields for Citrix EUC Scouts. - Fixed an issue with Custom Hive registration keys. - Fixed an issue with page load redirects and timeout. ## Custom Hive 1212 ### New Features - Citrix Scouts can now test gateways that require two-staged authentication with different sets of credentials. You can add the second set of credentials in the Scout’s additional parameters. ### Fixes - Fixed an AVD Scout issue that caused wrong identification of session ready and session logging off. - Improved screenshot capturing for all relevant Scouts. - Fixes a resource enumeration issue for Citrix Scouts using Azure AD authentication. - Fixed an issue that caused connection failures when using a proxy. ## Custom Hive 1211 ### Fixes - A change in the server authentication interface caused Citrix Storefront Scouts to stop working. - Using static PIN MFA for EUC Scouts was not working correctly. - The DNS Lookup Scout was using the default DNS server of the Hive instead of the server specified in the optional parameter **DNS Server**. ## Custom Hive 1210 ### Fixes - Applied updates to third-party components in the Custom Hive.
