# Error In: Monitor | Monitored Resources Tab | Access Denied Insufficient Permissions to Perform the Following Actions

## Issue

Error In: Monitor | Monitored Resources Tab | Access Denied Insufficient Permissions to Perform the Following Actions. ![Monitored Resources Tab](https://cdn.document360.io/098100b7-b9da-4bea-b4b9-017140ab863e/Images/Documentation/image%2884%29.png)

Check the account the Monitor service is using and if it has the correct Security Policy Role. By default, only the local administrator can connect to a computer. ![domain identity tab](https://cdn.document360.io/098100b7-b9da-4bea-b4b9-017140ab863e/Images/Documentation/image%2885%29.png)

## Resolution

Check the Security Policy pane and make sure the account the monitor is using has permission to Run Computer Actions.

The access denied issue is caused by security policy misconfiguration, see the link to the article below.
