How do I reset ControlUp Console to its factory default?

To reset your current user's ControlUp Console to the factory defaults, perform the following steps:

  1. If your ControlUp Console is currently running, shut it down.
  2. Delete or rename the ControlUp directory in your personal Application Data folder. To access this folder, click Start > Run and type %appdata%
  3. Delete or rename the following registry key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Smart-X\ControlUp
  4. Restart ControlUp
Note
All of your user settings, saved credentials, and managed machine lists will be lost during this operation.
