# Wrong Client IP is Showing On ControlUp Grid. (for Linux sessions).

### The Issue:

In some cases, during user-sessions that are Linux based, it's a known issue (originated at Citrix) that the wrong client IP can be displayed in the console and will be identical to the VDA address.

### The Cause:

This is a result of a known issue from the Citrix Receiver 13.8.x version. More information can be found via [this link](https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/receiver/linux/current-release/whats-new/known-issues.html?_ga=2.87287448.1065078051.1572430186-2064429739.1550069614#known-issues-in-citrix-receiver-for-linux-138) . The Citrix Receiver for Linux incorrectly reports to the VDA that the client address is the address of the server.

### The Solution:

Update the Citrix Receiver version to an up-to-date build as the issue was resolved.
