Troubleshooting XenDesktop Connection

In case the XD connection does not work, you can test the connection using the following steps:

 

PS C:\> Add-PSSnapin Citrix.Broker.Admin.V2

PS C:\> Get-BrokerController -AdminAddress <BrokerIP/or Name>

 

See screenshot below 

  • "asnp *" - will load all PS modules available on the computer
  • "-AdminAddress broker_name" - will instruct the PowerShell command to run on the remote XenDesktop Broker

If you get no results, it shows that the connection is not working and there might be a network issue or permissions or even server is wrong and more.
