Relevant ControlUp Agent Error Messages
- Validating RPC availability: Failed to access \\COMPUTERNAME\admin$ with the following error: The directory does not exist
- Validating WMI availability Error from WMI: Failed to contact ‘COMPUTERNAME‘ using WMI with the following error: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED)
Please make sure the Windows account running ControlUp console is part of the local administrators group on the target computer.
You can also use the AD Connections settings screen to configure alternative admin credentials that will be used for agent deployments
