It can be useful to run a script or program once a trigger happens in ControlUp.
This feature is being released in ControlUp version 7.4 in the near future. Below is a workaround until ControlUp 7.4 is released.
This workaround uses the "Record an event in the Application Log" functionality to achieve this. First setup a trigger to use the "Record an event in the Application Log".
The event will be written to the Monitor event log.
Once an event is created. Use Windows event viewer to "Attach a Task to this event" to run the desired script or program.
