    Article Summary

Add the directories/files in this article to your anti-virus software allow list. The allow list requirements are broken down by ControlUp products - VDI & DaaS, Edge DX, and Scoutbees

    VDI & DaaS

    ControlUp Agent

For devices with the ControlUp Agent installed, allow the following directory:

Alternatively, if you are unable to use wildcards, allow the full file path for the executables. Note that when you upgrade ControlUp versions, the file path changes and you will need to update your allow list.

    C:\Program Files\Smart-X\ControlUpAgent\<Version###>\AppLoadTimeTracer.exe
    C:\Program Files\Smart-X\ControlUpAgent\<Version###>\cuAgent.exe
    C:\Program Files\Smart-X\ControlUpAgent\<Version###>\cuAgentHelper.exe
