How to integrate ControlUp with SCOM?

Many ControlUp users use SCOM to monitor the health and performance of all objects in their environment from servers to individual applications in Microsoft Windows environments.

To configure the Real-Time DX console to write an event that SCOM can capture and generate email alerts for:

  1. Create an Incident Trigger with the follow-up action type Record an event in Application Log.
    follow-up action with Record an event in Application Log typeThe events will be written to the Application event log on the machine that the monitor is installed on.
  2. Once the events are created, configure SCOM to monitor and capture the events.

Currently, the event ID number is random and will be set the first time that the trigger fires.
