    Article Summary

    Issues

The Issues tab shows all issues that have been detected by your Templates.

The Issues over time chart shows a breakdown of all identified issues according to their category.

The Issue score by category shows how your environment is affected by each issue category. The size of a category's bubble is relative to the average score for all issues in that category. A larger bubble size indicates that issues in that category are causing a greater security risk. Read more about issue scores below.

The Issues grid contains a list of every detected issue. By default, issues that have been fully remediated are hidden because they no longer affect your environment. To show issues that have been fully remediated, select Show Fully Remediated in the top-right corner.

Each issue contains the following information:

    • Details. Name of the issue.
    • Duration. The time since the issue was first detected.
    • Remediation. Whether a remediation is available that can be initiated by Secure DX.
    • Score. The level of risk that the issue causes to your environment. Read below for details.
    • Severity. The issue severity. Read below for details.
    • Category. The issue category
    • Product Names. If the issue belongs to the Vulnerability category, then this column contains the names of the products affected by the CVE.
    • Description. A description of the issue.
    • Devices. The number of devices affected by the issue. The red portion of the bar shows the number of devices that still have the issue and have not yet been remediated. The green portion shows the number of devices that had the issue but have been remediated or resolved so that the issue no longer exists.

    Issue score and severity

Every issue is given a score from 0 to 10. An issue with a score of 10 has the highest security risk. The score is based on:

    • The category of issue (for example, compliance issues generally have a higher score than vulnerability issues).
    • The number of devices currently affected by the issue (the score will lower as the issue is remediated).
    • The issue Severity. The severity of each issue is determined using a combination of external resources and our own assesment. Note that the severity does not consider any factors that are unique to your environment.

    Drill down into issue details

Click on an issue in the grid to see more details about that particular issue, including:

    • How the issue score compares to the average score of other issues in the same category.
    • Which devices/applications/OS versions are affected by the issue.
