ControlUp and Px3 have partnered to provide carbon footprint and sustainability reporting for your organization. The report provides an analysis of the carbon footprint, electricity consumption, and e-waste generated by your organization's operations.
The report contains useful information such as:
Total carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions.
Greenhouse gas emissions broken down into scope 2 emissions (which come from electricity consumption) and scope 3 emissions (which come from the computer supply chain including production, distribution, and end-of-life services).
Annual electricity consumption and the associated cost.
Potential e-waste based on your asset inventory.
Set up the integration
Before you can create your sustainability report, you must provide some information about your company. To add this information, go to Settings > ControlUp for Desktops > Connectors > Sustainability.
Select the Enabled toggle to enable the integration.
Fill out the fields to provide information about your company. This information is used to tailor the report specifically to your organization.
Select the checkbox at the bottom of the settings page to consent to sharing your ControlUp data with Px3.
Generate the report
To generate the report:
Go to the Devices section in ControlUp.
In the top-right corner, click the Sustainability button to generate the report. The PDF report is sent to the email addresses you entered in the configuration page.
