ControlUp now includes a setting enabling our support team to perform remediation and monitoring on your ControlUp VDI implementation. The Enable Automatic Monitor Remediation setting is available in the DEX platform settings page under VDI and is enabled by default.
To access, go to your DEX platform Settings > VDI.

When enabled ControlUp support can perform remote actions on your monitors and agents. These include:
Restarting services which is particularly useful for restarting monitors (the cuMonitor service on the monitor machine)
Collecting diagnostic data such as:
Audit log changes
Memory dumps.
You can uncheck this option to opt out of this feature and disable remote actions by ControlUp.
Versions below 9.1.5
This feature is enabled for versions 9.1.5 and higher.
If you are running a lower version of ControlUp for VDI, you can use a PowerShell command to enable this capability. For details, see PowerShell Cmdlets for Environment Configuration. The new setting described in this article replaces that PowerShell command so it is no longer required in versions 9.1.5 and higher.
