The various dashboards within ControlUp for Compliance display all results from all Templates. To view details and results from a specific Template, go to the Templates page and click on a Template name.
The top section of the page displays the Template's configuration. To see which specific issues are part of the Template's scanning and remediation scope, you can click Edit Template to open the Template configuration wizard.
The first row of widgets displays:
- The number of assigned devices.
- The number of issues that have been detected from each category (Vulnerabilities, App Patches, OS Patches, Misconfigurations, Compliance). The
out of xtext in each widget shows the number of issues from that category that are included in the Template's scanning scope.
The content underneath the first row of widgets is dynamically updated based on the which widget you currently have selected.

Assigned devices
Select the Assigned Devices widget to see scan and remediation details across all issue categories for individual devices.
- The Remediation Status widget displays the number of remediation actions initiated the last time the Template ran, and the status for each action.
- The Remediation over time widget displays the number of remediation actions initiated by the template over time, and the status for each action.
- The Devices scanned over time widget displays the number of devices scanned by the Template over time.
The grid at the bottom of the page contains a list of all scanned devices with the following information.
- Device Name - The name of the device.
- Status - The current status of remedation actions on the device. If the issue can't be remediated (or automatic remediation isn't enabled in the Template), then the value for this column is
-. - Detected - The number of issues detected on the device.
- Patchable - The number of detected issues that are able to be remediated by ControlUp.
- Pending / In progress / Failed / Aborted / Success / Restart required - The number of remediation actions in each respective status.
- Update Date - The last time ControlUp performed a remediation action on the device.
Click on a device in the grid to see all detected issues and their remediation status.
Issue category
Select a widget for a issue category to see scan and remediation details for only issues from that category.
- The <category name> Status widget displays the number of remediation actions initiated for issues in the selected category the last time the Template ran, and the status for each action.
- The Remediation over time widget displays the number of remediation actions initiated by the Template for issues in the selected category over time, and the status for each action.
- The Devices scanned over time widget displays the number of devices scanned by the Template over time.
The grid at the bottom of the page contains a list of all detected issues from the selected category, with the following information:
- Name/CVE - The name of the issue, or the CVE number.
- Apps (for Vulnerabilities only) - The name of the app affected by the CVE.
- Affected Devices - The number of devices where the issue was detected.
- Pending / In progress / Failed / Aborted / Success / Restart required - The number of remediation actions in each respective status.
- Update date - The last time ControlUp performed a remediation action for that issue.

See which Templates have scanned a device
When viewing details for a specific device in ControlUp for Compliance, the Active templates last scan section shows you all active Templates that have scanned the device, and the last time each Template performed the scan. This can help you ensure that the device is being scanned for the correct scope of security issues, and that you are viewing up-to-date information. You can click on a Template's name to drill down into the details for that Template.
