XenDesktop SBA Failure

Issue

You try to run an Analyze XenDesktop Logon Duration SBA and it fails. The error message indicates insufficient admin privileges.

Cause

Windows User Account Controls (UAC) notifies when programs try to make changes to the machine, and it causes the script to hang.

Solution

Disable the UAC. To achieve this, you can change the registry key listed below. Open Regedit.exe and go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system.

Change EnableLUA from 1 to 0, then restart the endpoint.

Use Controlup Controllers to apply that change to multiple machines, if needed.
